Injured Moriarty targeting U21 Muratti spot on return

Rory MoriatyVALE REC’S player of the year has spoken of his disappointment at breaking both an arm and a leg, making him a major doubt for the start of the league season.

Young star Rory Moriarty (pictured), one of the best breakthrough performers in local football during last season, recently fell through a ceiling while working, breaking his tibia.

And the 19-year-old explained the timeline back to full fitness he faces.

‘I can’t run on it for another six weeks or so.

‘I might be back for the start of the season.’
