Demore wins in Cardiff

The 16-year-old beat the Wales champion Billy Myers by a remarkable 10-0 scoreline.
‘He boxed absolutely brilliantly,’ said his regular coach, Graham Guilbert, who was with him in the Welsh capital and watched as English coaches took charge of the Sarnian.
Myers was stocky and a touch shorter than Demore, who said he was shocked at the ease of the victory.
‘I kept him at long distance, which my coach had told me to do,’ said Demore, who is back in the ring today fighting another Welsh contender.
