GAGE DEMORE is the second best junior 60kg boxer in Great Britain.
That was confirmed after he won the silver medal at the Three Nations tournament in Cardiff at the weekend.
In his semi-final, the 16-year-old demolished Welshman Billy Myers 10-0 after the fight of his career, but Demore could not keep that going into the final, where he was at the end of a similar scoreline.
An 8-0 defeat to Michael Buckland, who is the Welsh champion of the last two years, meant that Demore won the silver medal, to add to his English ABA title he won recently.
Demore’s coach Graham Guilbert was ringside with the youngster and he believes that the final was just one fight too far in the early stages of his career.
