Le Tour sailors hit the Town

THE harbour was filled with racing yachts covered in flags last night as Le Tour des Ports de la Manche fleet arrived in Guernsey.
More than 600 sailors from France, Jersey, the UK and even Guernsey piled off the boats and into Town saying the race had been a success.
Daniel Bonnefoy, 58, was on one of the two Les Rapetous boats that took around six hours to complete the journey. He has been sailing in the area for 43 years.
‘For me, the Tour des Ports is the most technical, the hardest, the most interesting and therefore it is the race I like most,’ he said.
