ISLAND youngsters have the opportunity to join some of the biggest names from professional rugby with the Guinness Premiership champions Leicester Tigers set to return to Guernsey again to run their community rugby coaching course this summer.
The programme, which is supported by Ashburton, the active investment manager, will run from 26-30 July and is open to all players aged from eight to 16 and will see Tigers coaches deliver a five-day coaching course which will challenge players in all aspects of their game.
In addition, Tigers will run the Ashburton Tiger Tag on the Monday and Tuesday of the week to encourage younger players to take up tag rugby.
‘We are delighted to be coming back to Guernsey and to work with the young rugby talent on the island,’ said Tigers community manager Scott Clarke.
