Sarnian duo improving as they mix it with the stars

COLIN LE MAITRE has enjoyed an impressive start to his debut year in the Formula 3000 category of the French Hill Climb Championship.
The Sarnian, one of the island’s quickest hill climbers, has competed in the series for the last four years in a Formula 3 car, but felt the time was right to take the step up for the 2010 season.
The move has paid dividends, with Le Maitre recording a highest position of ninth out of more than 100 cars, which came at Saint Goueno last month.
He has competed in a further six race weekends, with his next visit set to be for the meeting at Le Mont-Dore in southern France early next month.
