On the right Track

Tomorrow night will see 16 of Guernsey’s best boxers face an England Select squad, regarded as ‘the strongest team ever sent to the island’.
That is the view of Guernsey coach Graham Guilbert, who has a full-strength list of boxers, with the exception of injured Matt Jennings and his top women fighters, who could not be matched up with opponents.
Ticket sales are now said to be around the 1,700 mark and, although only just over half the potential capacity, it is still more than double a usual crowd at a Beau Sejour boxing evening.
