Knowledge is give and take for bright young things

A GROUP of youngsters are touring the island to meet business leaders and discuss bright ideas.

The pilot Schroders Bright Futures week, the brainchild of employees Genevieve Langford and Rosie Lampert, has so far seen university-age men and women visit various sectors of local industry to learn and hopefully to inspire as well.

First they visited Herm to watch presentations from its finance, hospitality and technical directors before being split into teams to come up with ideas.

John Russell, 22, who has just finished his second year of civil engineering at Imperial College London, said that was both hugely enjoyable and invaluable.
