Whalley named England captain

GUERNSEY star Andy Whalley (pictured) has been selected to captain the England mixed team once again.
It is the Old Elizabethan’s seventh year of playing for the national side and fourth as captain.
The England team, made up of five men, five women and a goalkeeper, face Wales on Saturday at the Cardiff Institute of Sport.
‘We have been training since May and in the warm up have played top sides including Reading, Guildford and Olton, who are the national mixed champions,’ Whalley said.
