GUERNSEY POST made it five in a row as they stormed to victory in the Collins Stewart Town Relay last night with one of the fastest times in recent years.

Their combined 20min. 24sec. was not only remarkable as a team effort, but also for the consistency of the four team members on show.

Tristan Robilliard, James de Garis, Sam Dowding and Pete Guilbert all ran times that were within 10 seconds of each other, all also among the evening’s best runs individually.

Although they trailed Permira after the first lap of the one-mile circuit through the High Street, thanks to Steve Bienvenu’s stunning time of 4-57, they never looked in any danger once they had taken the lead before the halfway mark.
