WITH the children unable to come to them, Town Carnival performers yesterday went back to school.

Clowns duo Sonny and Rainbow and the Puppetree Company put on a special performance for pupils of Le Rondin and Forest Primary.

A mistake with the organisation saw the Town Carnival on while children were still at school – most break up tomorrow.

But Puppetree Company Punch and Judy professor Brian Davey was not going to let the kids miss out.

‘The kids always love to see us,’ he said.

    I can’t beleive they got it so wrong with the dates for town carnival. Alot of money goes into this and where are the kids STILL IN SCHOOL. lol

    I agree Sarah. All someone had to do was lift up the telephone and call Education or even look on the Education website. Who organises this? Town Partnership? whose in charge there!

    when I saw that headline “Send in the clowns”
    I thought they were referring to a body of people who act at times like clowns.
