SPLIT will be the destination for Guernsey’s first foray into European football.
The city on Croatia’s west coast has been confirmed as the venue for the preliminary round of the Uefa Regions Cup, in which Guernsey are appearing after winning last season’s FA Carlsberg National League System Cup.
The dates of Guernsey’s matches have also been confirmed, although the exact times and venues have yet to be decided.
Representing England and thus wearing the famous three lions, Tony Vance’s team will play against the host nation Croatia on Friday 24 September.
