Chameleon boss fades into the background

A local supplier of top-end kitchens appears to have stopped trading, leaving customers with no idea how to get their money back.
Chameleon Interiors Camp du Roi St Sampson's may be closing down
Trading Standards, the Citizens Advice Bureau and the Guernsey Press have all tried to track down Chameleon Interiors proprietor Martyn Bachelet, but to no avail.
The business, which specialises in made-to-measure kitchens, bedrooms and studies, was set up in 1997 but is not registered locally.
And because it is not a limited company it has not been put into the hands of liquidators, so customers have no idea to whom their claims should be directed.

Prehaps Bachelet has installed kitchens or bathrooms could even be bedrooms in P.Ferbraches many houses, and has seen what happened to Holland so has gone to get a tan with him. He is still in the Island though seen last week, apparently!

I feel very sorry for those that may have lost their money after handing it over expecting to be delivered with a dream kitchen, bathroom etc.
But anyone who has had the misfortune of dealing with this “business” will not have been surprised that it has come to this.

I know many a cautionary tale about this company.
Perhaps with it being such a small island word was finally getting around, which is what has precipitated this turn of events.

I was told that he has taken his porsche and gone. I feel sorry for the people who have paid out to have there Kitchens done with out any back up. Im sure Mr B will be back to visit his children.
