It is the ninth year that the event has been staged and this year sees the presence of under-nine sides from Scottish champions Rangers, Premiership heavyweights Everton and Fulham, as well as a debut for League One side Southampton.

For Fulham, it will be a matter of attempting to defend the title they won on their first attempt a year ago, while Everton have been at every version of the event, winning it three times in the process.

The event’s organiser, Steve Dewsnip, is delighted about the continued involvement of the biggest names.
