Ben Remfrey, Neal Teers, and Anthony Grey rode more than 1,000 miles in 14 days accompanied by a support team of Ian and Dave Sarchet, Nikki Swan and Rachel Womersley.

They arrived to the sound of the Drums and Bugles of the Royal Regiment and a poignant welcome from two Royal Marine commandos who had had lower limbs amputated after being injured while serving in Afghanistan.

Team leader and Mines Awareness Trust founder Mr Remfrey said the riders were exhausted.
