Dawes king of the climb

STEVE DAWES ran the best time of his life as he stormed to victory in last night’s Jerbourg climb stage of the All Terrain Challenge.

He clocked 1min. 53sec. – only the second time he has beaten the two-minute mark – and it was enough to see off closest competitors Sam Dowding and Sam Rowe.

With the course being extremely intensive but short, it means that the performances failed to shake up the overall leaderboard, which is based on cumulative time.
