Alderney seeks developers to create and run a marina

DEVELOPERS are being sought to build a 300-berth marina in Alderney.

The island’s States is hoping to convince a company to design, build, finance and operate a facility in Braye Harbour.
And, provided a developer’s plans get the green light, building work could begin next spring.
States chief executive Roy Burke said: ‘The Outer Harbour at Alderney provides a unique opportunity for a new marina in one of Europe’s finest and least-developed yachting positions.
