‘Let Aurigny MD tell us his side’

A MINISTER has demanded that Aurigny’s board and managing director be allowed to give their views on the proposed deal to sell the airline.

Housing boss Dave Jones has written to Treasury and Resources requesting that Aurigny’s chiefs be made available to attend a meeting with States members to give their views.

Well said! Why may we only hear one side of the argument – the ‘pro-giveaway to BI’? I would like to hear how the current Aurigny Board plan to stop losing money and an analysis of where (and why) money is being lost – and how to fix it. I have grave doubts over the ability of an airline running 5 types of aircraft and reportedly losing as much money as a much bigger airline running two types to add much value to the situation.
