Javelin star James set for CI debut

YOUNG javelin prospect James Brehaut makes his debut for the men’s Sportingbet Channel Islands AC team competing in their penultimate British Athletic League match in Glasgow tomorrow.

Currently lying in second place of Division Four behind leaders Glasgow City, the Sportingbet squad hope to at least maintain this position despite the absence of distance stars Lee Merrien and Steve Dawes.
The Channel Island team is made up of nine Guernsey and seven Jersey athletes.
