Snags with PEH block ‘are not unusual’

AROUND 800 snags were handed over with the new clinical block at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital.

Director of corporate services Richard Evans made the comment in Health and Social Services’ latest newsletter.
But he said the 800 were now down to 12 and all the wards and departments moved in without too much trouble, while the building seemed to be operating well.

Voice for Victims is a campaign aimed at promoting the rights of those affected by child sexual abuse.
Would it be amiss to ask if as is stated a 800 or so faults or whatever, Is it possible that because it’s an Island thing little or no thought of constructive diligence is made.
If it was a private affair any faults would have to put right before acceptance and before final payment.’Snags’ as they call it is faults, and in my opinion careless attention to a trade of workers.
I do hope I’m wrong in thinking that a mite carelessness is also prevalent in the case of the PEH.
