LE MONT SAINT GARAGE has put forward plans to develop the business.
The St Saviour’s car dealership wants to transform its forecourt and showroom to allow more cars to be displayed and is currently seeking planning permission from the Environment Department.

‘Rather than making the building wider, it’s logical that we go upwards,’ he said.

How can going higher and more visible be good for the area and given the expansion plans why not move to bigger premises, land more suitable. Leales yard will be going cheap

This is a terrible idea. The garage is already an eyesore in the middle of a wholly residential area with no other commercial premises within about half a mile in any direction, Totally out of keeping with its environs – if planning pass this they would be bigger idiots than I think they are. I agree with St. Saviour, why not build a new showroom in a sensible location rather than shoehorn something wildly unsuitable in to a small residential site.
