BMW boss says: ‘Andy can do it’

ANDY PRIAULX’S boss has endorsed the Sarnian’s credentials for a fourth world touring car title.
With the World Touring Car Championship in its summer break, BMW Motorsport director Dr Mario Theissen believes the Guernseyman has as good a chance as anyone to come out on top of the drivers’ standings at the end of the year.
The most recent WTCC meeting saw third-placed Priaulx close the gap on championship leader Yvan Muller to just 16 points.
‘After 14 races, Andy is right in the thick of the title race for BMW Team RBM,’ Theissen said.
