Alan BougourdTHE Guernsey International Business Association has backed plans for the regeneration of Delancey Park.

The scheme, revealed exclusively by the Guernsey Press on Monday, involves proposals for 18 different projects including a kitchen garden, new paths, refurbished changing rooms, an adult fitness area and three separate playgrounds.

Giba also believes the plans represent a further opportunity for institutions to demonstrate their corporate social responsibility to the island, which it believes is already very strong.

Giba vice-chairman Alan Bougourd (pictured) said members could potentially help the scheme in a couple of ways, through monetary support or offering specialist know-how.
