Saints exit leaves U21 under-developed
Friday 13th August 2010, 2:29PM BST.
ST MARTIN’S have become the third club to withdraw from the under-21 development league.
The decision, on the eve of a new campaign, leaves the Guernsey Football Association with just four sides to contest their much-heralded league, which was at the heart of its original four-year plan.
Mark Le Tissier (pictured), the GFA chairman, said that he was asking remaining clubs to come forward with their thoughts as to what do next.
‘We can confirm that Saints have pulled out as well and we are discussing the future of the league.’
