Ogier: LTA ‘mucked up my rating’

PAT OGIER is doing it the French way as he attempts to build on a mighty successful few weeks in his tennis career.
Last month, Ogier was part of the Channel Islands team that impressively gained promotion from Division Seven in the Aegon Summer County Cup tournament held in Kent, which was solely contested with doubles matches.
Ogier partnered Dom McCluskey to 15 wins out of 15 over the course of a week, a staggering performance which was the first of its kind by a local in the event’s history.
The CI team beat competition from Staffordshire, Cumbria, the Isle of Man, Shropshire and Wiltshire to win the tournament, and will play in Division Six next summer.
