BELS are off and running at the start of the new season after winning the Martinez Cup with a 3-1 victory over FA Cup winners Rangers.
Leighton Chainey’s first game in charge brought success after two late goals from Craig Farnham and Jon Rihoy brought the first silverware of the season heading down to the Track.
Afterwards, Chainey was pleased with the success, but knows there are improvements to come from his side, which was missing Craig Young and Dave Rihoy.
‘It is good to get another game under our belts,’ he said.
