New cap Hamon ‘buzzing’

JAMES HAMON is thrilled at the prospect of representing Guernsey in this year’s inter-insular.
The 15-year-old is the youngest to be chosen for the island senior side for many years as they prepare for next month’s clash with Jersey at La Moye.
And although he was never certain of a place, he always felt that he had a chance.
‘As you can imagine, I am absolutely buzzing,’ he said.
‘I thought I was borderline to be in the squad and some people I spoke to said the same thing, but when I got the letter the other day I was delighted.’
