Garland aiming for 2012
Thursday 19th August 2010, 2:30PM BST.
DALE GARLAND has ‘invested in myself’ to preserve his dream of competing at the London 2012 Olympics.
Injuries have seriously hampered him so far this year, but he is confident that a trip to a specialist who fixed double Olympic gold medallist Kelly Holmes will also do the trick for him.
Garland (pictured), now 29, refuses to believe that his best days are behind him and is convinced that given an injury-free season he can run personal bests and even achieve the 400m hurdles A standard for 2012.

In recent times Garland has been plagued by hamstring and calf problems.
