New Guernsey-based Islamic funds list on local exchange

A NEW suite of Guernsey-based Islamic-compliant investments has been listed on the Channel Islands Stock Exchange.
The launch of World Shariah Funds PCC Ltd by local investment manager Argyll Investment Services follows its participation in the GuernseyFinance presence at the Fund Forum Middle East conference in Bahrain in October 2009.
At the conference, GuernseyFinance exhibited with the help of several industry representatives such as Stuart Place, marketing director at Argyll, who gave a presentation on how to achieve results in a post-credit crunch market.
‘GuernseyFinance’s initiative is directly responsible for Argyll being in a position to develop the World Shariah Funds,’ said Argyll senior marketing manager Mark Margetts-Smith. (pictured)
