‘Le Tiss’ weighs up a Rec return

MATT LE TISSIER could make a return to local football as he considers an offer to play for the Vale Rec veterans side.

The Southampton legend, who was capped eight times by England, last played for the south coast club in 2002.

And now Rec, whom Le Tissier played for before his original move to the UK and the club at which brother Carl is senior coach, are looking at the possibility of him playing various games throughout the season.

That would be likely to depend on when Le Tissier is in the island, given his commitments on Sky Sports’ Soccer Saturday tying him up the majority of Saturdays.
