PSD ‘needs to stop faffing’

Dick Bilborough THE man behind the proposal for an all-in-one waste treatment park has criticised Public Services for its nonchalant response.

Dick Bilborough’s comprehensive plan, which would include sewage treatment, has received widespread backing from prominent islanders and investors.

However, Mr Bilborough (pictured) said he was unsurprised by PSD’s apparent lack of interest.

‘They will file it and consider it again in January 2012 or something, which is complete nonsense,’ said Mr Bilborough. He called for a more proactive approach. ‘Instead, they should engage in serious conversation with us and take this forward – and stop faffing around.’
