RANGERS will be hoping they do not face a St Paul’s backlash in tomorrow’s Jeremie Cup encounter.
The side that won every trophy they entered last year, including brushing aside Bels 3-1 in the Upton, travel to St Andrew’s to play Paul Ockleford’s side in the pick of the day’s four ties.
But for the Jersey side that had everything their own way last year, they were humbled on Tuesday night against Jersey Wanderers in their Charity Cup.
The newly-promoted Wanderers beat the champions 2-0, despite having two men sent off late on, resulting in St Paul’s first defeat in 41 games.
