IT WAS a case of deja vu for Guernsey’s under-17s as they were beaten by Overstone CC from Northamptonshire in a tour match.

Jeremy Frith’s side, captained again by Glenn Le Tissier, lost to the visitors earlier in the week and fell in an almost identical situation second time around.

Although the Guernsey side was slightly changed, with no Mitchell Le Tissier who impressed in the first match, Overstone batted first again and posted an identical total of 243, for the loss of three wickets.

The Sunter brothers of Guy and Matt again led from the front, the openers setting up the sizeable total from their 45 overs.
