Twenty hopefuls vie for 12 Buddy roles

SINGERS and actors had a chance yesterday to audition for the musical Buddy.
There were 20 performers at the interviews for a place in the show at Beau Sejour in October.
Only 12 will be selected to act alongside 18 West End performers in the hit musical about Buddy Holly’s life.
It is the third West End musical that Milton Morrissey Ltd has brought to the island. Previous productions by the company in Guernsey have included Les Miserables in concert and Cats.
