Ten to get West End experience in Buddy

TEN islanders have been selected to perform alongside a West End cast in a production of Buddy.
Miss Guernsey Natalie Thoumine, Leanne Oliver, Jodie Webber, Brandi Dawson, Gabriella Shier, Lee-Ann Hawkes, Nicola Hutchinson, Matthew Martel, Kieron Brook and Lee Rosete were selected after auditioning on Sunday.
They performed in front of a panel of judges including creative producer Paul Morrissey and Kim Spaargaren, HR manager at sponsors Butterfield.
The roles include acting, singing and dancing and rehearsals begin at the end of next month.

Good luck to all, I don’t know if any of these were involved but even with the west end performers they will be hard pressed to match the Beauty and the Beast performed by local people that I witnessed a couple of weeks ago. A truly ‘West End’ quality show.
