Waters’ grand breakthrough

ROB WATERS, so often the bridesmaid when it comes to island full bore shooting competitions, has made the big breakthrough.
The week after finishing second to Nick Branch in the island championship, Waters (pictured) took the Grand Aggregate at the big end-of-season Summer Prize meeting at Fort Le Marchant.
And he did it by the surprising margin of four points, much to his relief after an average finish to the event.
‘It is one of the top trophies to get and I was very pleased to win,’ said the 21-year-old.
