THE RNLI’s latest lifeboat was in Guernsey for an overnight stop yesterday.

The Tamar-class vessel Killarney moored alongside the inter-island quay as part of an extended shakedown trip that included visits to Alderney, Jersey and St Cast in Brittany.

It was due to head for Weymouth today.

The vessel will be stationed at the village of Kilmore Quay, County Wexford, in the south-east of Ireland.
