Island has to wait until 2012 for new passports

The new-generation passport will be issued in the UK from October but not here until 2012. (1016029)
ISLANDERS will have to wait until the end of 2012 for the Guernsey version of the new British passport.
The new Bailiwick passports, when available, will have strengthened security features.
Immigration and Nationality assistant chief officer Phil Taylor said the introduction of the new generation of passports in the UK from 5 October would have no immediate impact on travelling islanders.
‘In the meantime, the Guernsey Passport Office will continue to issue the current British passport, which is recognised throughout the world and meets exacting security standards,’ he said.

Not sure that your post makes any sense. We are British citizens already. A new-style document doesn’t change our status. Any EU citizen can already buy a local market house here. They just can’t live in it without local market qualifications.

Without any doubt it is an undisputed FACT that Guernsey and the majority of its local population would be far better off had a two tier racist system never been introduced.

No, its not “FACT” at all. How can it be if its unproven? It’s nothing other than your own personal opinion, which isn’t the same thing at all. And I’m not saying whether you are right or wrong, just that it isn’t “FACT”.
