Ingrouille is wary of favourite tag

PAUL INGROUILLE normally runs marathons about every 20 years.
But for tomorrow’s second Sportingbet Guernsey marathon the GIACC stalwart is making an exception.
This time the gap has been only nine.
Ingrouille, now 46 (pictured), is Guernsey’s big hope to take the £1,000 first prize and, if he can emulate his 2001 London Marathon performance of 2hrs 38min., he may even end up winning.
But he is not seeing himself as pre-race favourite.
