GUERNSEY will begin their European cup journey at multi-million pound all-seater stadiums in Croatia.
The times and venues for all three of Guernsey’s games in the preliminary round group of the Uefa Regions Cup have now been announced, but it is the opening game that offers the most appealing venue.
That game on 24 September against Recija Dalmacije from the host country will be held in Dugopolje, around 20km outside of the team’s base in Split.
SC Hrvatskih Vitezova is a 5,200 stadium that was only completed last year. It cost 55 million kuna (over £6 million) and is built to Uefa standards.
