YESTERDAY’S SportingBet Guernsey Marathon has been hailed a success by organisers.
Around 150 individuals and 54 relay teams took part in the second island 26.2-miler.
A record was set by Guernseyman Chris Carre, who was first across the line in two hours, 41 minutes and 29 seconds.
The fastest woman was Bronwyn McNeil-Rogers from Sark, who finished in three hours, nine minutes and 30 seconds.
