OVs claim title with victory over ORs

THE title decider went the way of the home team as OVs defeated ORs in Jersey to win the CI League on Saturday.
In the winner-takes-all clash at Grainville, ORs were bowled out for 170 with three overs of their allotted 50 remaining with Adam Le Page’s 36 the highest score of the innings.
For OVs, Steven Blackburn claimed three for 35.
In the reply, there were three wickets too for Lee Savident, but OVs and Jersey captain Peter Gough saw his side to a four-wicket win with an unbeaten 79.
