NICK SAUNDERS showed his class yet again as he was comfortably the fastest up Le Val des Terres with a sub-30 time yesterday.
His time of 29.79sec. was nearly half a second quicker than his nearest rival Jason Carre, whose fastest time of 30.25 was disappointing by his high standards.
It was a day that included four new class records, the most notable being William Konken’s effort in the karts category, with the previous mark being set over three years ago and being one of the longest-standing records.
But it was yet again Saunders’ day, although he was not overly happy with his performance.
‘I wouldn’t say that I have had a great run to be honest,’ he said.
