Asplund adapting to Lasers just fine

JOHANNA ASPLUND put together a fine sequence of results at the Laser National Championship in Mounts Bay, Cornwall.
The Guernsey Yacht Club junior finished sixth overall and second girl in the Laser 4.7 class.
‘It was a good week. As I am new in the Laser class I didn’t quite know what to expect but I am pleased with the result and how things worked out,’ she said.
Asplund (pictured) moved on to the Laser only as late as in mid-July after having completed her last regatta in the Optimist class, the European Championship in Poland.
