HUNDREDS of islanders were at the harbour yesterday making their way to this weekend’s Jersey Live music festival.

Condor Ferries sailings were sold out and today’s boats are also fully booked. Most inter-island flights were full on Aurigny and Blue Islands on Friday and Saturday, with Blue Islands operating 12 flights today and using its largest aircraft, a 46-seater ATR.

More than 1,000 people from Guernsey are expected to attend the two-day event, headlined by Paul Weller and Groove Armada.

Now in its seventh year, it has become the Channel Islands’ biggest music event, with around 10,000 festival-goers, 60 acts and five stages at the Royal Jersey Showground.
