IF THIS was a glimpse into what the new season holds, then the next few months will be phenomenal.
Despite missing several key names, Bels can count themselves mighty unlucky that they exited the Hampshire Senior Cup at the first hurdle for the second year running.
Their heads will quite rightly be held high after a thrilling extra-time defeat, in what was one of the games of this, or indeed any other, season.
Captain Sam Cochrane, Matt Drillot and Dave Rihoy may have been noticeable by their absence, but everywhere on the pitch others stepped up to the plate.
