Monday 6th September 2010, 2:29PM BST.

Lining up for the Pink Ladies’ road car sprint are, from the left, Stuart Butler, Bill Cohu and Jo Allen. (1021905)
MOTORISTS will get the chance to sprint in their road cars for next month.
The ‘open to all’ event on 23 October will raise money for breast cancer charity the Pink Ladies.
The public Vazon sprint was the idea of Guernsey Motorcycle and Car Club president Bill Cohu, who wanted to offer islanders the equivalent of a track day. The event is being arranged with the help of Heritage Group Insurance Brokers.
There are 100 spaces available at £50 and each participant will get four or five runs. Forest Road Garage is also providing a car for a media challenge. For more information and entry forms email stuart. butler@heritage.co.gg.
