MISSING businessman Martyn Bachelet has returned to Guernsey and been interviewed by police.
The fugitive owner of Chameleon Interiors had not been seen since July when customers with outstanding orders were left unable to contact the company.
But he has since been seen back in Guernsey – apparently in disguise – and told an irate customer that he had given himself up to police.
Detective Constable Victoria Jeffery confirmed yesterday that officers had spoken to Mr Bachelet and were looking to speak to him again.

Slightly worrying by the Police and PC Jeffery, does that mean they let him go and now can’t find him again? Or have i missed the point, apologies if i have.

I suppose the Police have to first establish whether the Chameleon problem is a civil matter or involves criminal activity
I’m sure Truth Man and Phil will fill these pages with the answer very soon

This is a real Pantomime, with the Dame hiding under his ginger hair. Is he, Isn’t he!! Look out! he’s behind you or is that him in front running up the street being chased by a rather fearsome retired builder!
The question everyone is asking is: How come ‘the fugitive’ was on holiday in the far east for several weeks, when the cash used for this vacation surely should have been paying back some of the customers he has alledgedly duped! At least the red Porsche is now nowhere to be seen, or is it just backstage??
