Pakistan floods hit explorer Will’s plans

A STUDENT on an expedition saw at first hand the devastation caused by recent flooding in Pakistan.

Seventeen-year-old Will Dovey has just returned from Northern India’s Numbra Valley, which borders Pakistan.

He, along with fellow Elizabeth College pupil Adrian Aplin, 17, who travelled to Norway, were taking part in trips organised by the British Schools Exploring Society.

The flooding meant that Mr Dovey’s group had to drop some of its original plans, instead carrying out glaciology.
