Simpson’s massive week

CHRIS SIMPSON faces a massive week in his fledgling season.
The Guernseyman, pictured, who is currently ranked 52nd in the world, is in the qualifying rounds for the Saudi World Open – the most prestigious event in the calendar to be held in December – at St George’s Hill today.
Immediately following that over the next two days, Simpson will be in action at the Surrey club again, this time attempting to qualify for the Kuwait Open, one of the PSA Super Series tournaments. The main draw of that event begins at the end of October.
